If you do not yet have a history written, consider addressing the motivation and events surrounding the founding of your congregation, key moments in the history of the church, and a slightly more detailed history of the most recent years.
While it is certainly understandable to include history about the church’s pastors and building, remember that your church is not primarily a pastor or building and that the history should exemplify that the church is made up of many parts.
